Course Summary
If you are passionate about digital creation and enjoy using various software to make products, this course will help you develop a variety of production skills in digital creation. We�ll teach you about website design & development, animation design & development, other software like Adobe and Blender while giving you an insight into the creative industry. The course will provide you with an introduction to the creative range of digital technologies and help you to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to support a progression to further education and employment within the creative and digital industries.
Course Details
This exciting Level 2 course is the perfect introduction to the world of digital creation. This course is ideal if you are considering a progression into the creative industries and if you are practically minded. Throughout the course, you will learn and develop good practical skills using different pieces of software. You will learn about how creative industries work and how to analyse professional creative products. The course content is based on completing projects and creating products.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
You will be assessed based on your coursework, which runs through the year, along with the completion of a Final Major Project. Your work will be externally assessed at the end of the academic year by the UAL awarding body.
Entry requirements
Minimum four grade 3-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 1 course, and English or maths at grade 3.
