Barbering Level 2 Certificate

Join us for this fast track course as we help you turn your passion for barbering into a career.

Whether you're looking to learn a new trade, want to add to your existing skillset, or want to refresh your skills in this ever-changing industry, this course is perfect for you. We'll teach industry skills, knowledge, and techniques so you can provide men's hair services, including facial grooming, as an excellent barber. There a number of units you will study to complete the Level 2 qualification. They are: * Working in the hair industry * Health and safety * Consultation * Shampoo and conditioning * Promoting products and services * Blow drying men's hair * Cut men�s hair * Cut facial hair There a number of units you will study to complete the Level 3 qualification. They are: * Monitor and maintain health and safety practices in salons * Consultation support for college in hair services * Cut men's hair to create a variety of looks * Cut facial hair to create a variety of looks * Provide Shaving and face massage

You will be assessed through a combination of written and practical assessments.

Minimum four grade 3-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 1 course, and English or maths at grade 3.

Once you have completed this course, you will be able to progress onto the Level 3 Barbering course or Level 2 Hairdressing, both courses have an adult part time option or employment within a barber salon.
