You will extend your skills as a beauty therapist by mastering a larger range of specialist beauty face and body treatments. These will include body massage, stone therapy massage, electrical facials, retailing and promotional activity, health and safety, client care and communication. This increased depth of knowledge will prepare you for work in salons, hotels, health and fitness spas, airlines, cruise liners and department stores in the UK or overseas. A work placement is an essential feature of the course and will give you a valuable insight into the commercial world of beauty therapy. Thanks to strong links with local employers, we can help you set up a placement. You will have plenty of opportunities to shine with internal and external skills events.

Your knowledge and understanding in these units will be collected in a portfolio of evidence along with assignments and exams.

Successful completion of the Level 2 course and GCSE English or maths at grade 4.
