iCan events

iCan hosts two events each academic year (September to August). The events have been developed to support young people and their parents/carers in Year 9 upwards who may have barriers to accessing careers events. These events aim to provide the young people and parents/carers with the information about possible next steps in and around East Sussex available to them. 

The first event of the year takes place in November and is an evening event that welcomes parents/carers.

The second event (held in National Careers Week) hosts our schools, colleges and alternative learning provisions and is closed to parents/carers. iCan is well attended by the majority of the schools in East Sussex and information about the next event will be shared with your schools’ careers leader and SENCo.
