Course Summary
THEATRE STUDIES PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS TO ACT, DESIGN AND EXPLORE PLAY TEXTS AND LIVE PERFORMANCE.

Written Exam 40%
Devising 30%
Practical scripted 30%
Entry requirements
5 GCSE grades at 4 or above including English, as well as a 5 in GCSE Drama. Applicants without these grades may be considered in the light of extracurricular drama following an interview.

A degree or apprenticeship in acting, designing, stage management, script writing, drama therapy, teaching. The transferable skills of improvisation, problem solving, public speaking, confidence and verbal and written skills gained during the A Level will be valuable in a wide range of careers; law policing, HR, event management.
