Analysis of visual imagery helps students to interpret visual language and use it to communicate complex and personal concepts.
This course consists of two components:
• Component 1 which makes up 60% of the mark is in two parts: Practical work and Personal study.
• Component 2 is the externally set assignment, which makes up 40% of the mark.
For both components, sketchbook work needs to be informed, purposeful and extensive. Students must carry out focused independent research, from primary source investigation, exploration and experimentation, before developing their final outcomes.
