The AQA A Level Psychology is a science concerned with the study of the mind and behaviour.

A qualification in psychology can take you into university for further study and a wide variety of different careers.

You will use and develop your communication skills, critical thinking, problem solving and independent research.

When studying Psychology students are expected to take an active role and responsibility for their learning. The course requires independent study around the topic areas and this can take any form, book, journals, podcasts and YouTube. Students are required to attend all lessons offered to them alongside homework being completed to ensure that the fairest grade can be given for their work.

Paper 2: Psychology in Context.

Paper 3: Issues and Options in Psychology
2 hour written examination 33.3% of A-Level grade.

Entry requirements

Grade 6 in 2 Science GCSEs, grade 4 in English Language GCSE and grade 5 in Mathematics GCSE.
