Course Details
So you want to be a designer ,stylist, design assistant, buyer, fashion magazine assistant, assist on fashion photoshoots, fashion blogger,fashion merchandiser, or garment technologist? This course will give you the technical skills and allow you to explore your creative ability to be able to suceed in the fashion business. You will learn fashion drawing, sketching, sewing and garment making skills, styling,fashion research, fashion media, fashion history and pattern cutting.You will learn how to be able to present your work to a client/design director. You will learn the ability to develop and produce a personal project in your own identity. You will work with industry professionals on a range of industry relevant projects to help you to develop your creative and technical skills, supported by educational visits to exhibitions,galleries and fashion retail environmentsto widen your fashion knowledge.You will create a personal project of a final piece which will be shown to the public at the fashion show and in the end of exhibition held at the college. Our Education Programme includes opportunities for you to develop your English and maths skills as required, depending on your GCSE results upon entry.

Entry requirements
4 GCSE's 3-9 incl English and Maths, or equivalent, plus Interview and Portfolio/example of creative work. You will need a positive school report including attendance/recommendation/reference from your school/tutor.
