Beauty Therapy Diploma Level 2

You will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety practices in a salon environment, how to provide client care, and how to communicate effectively with clients. The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in beauty therapy to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to perform your own salon services. You will be expected to participate in relevant work experience.

You will be required to have beauty-specific equipment and a uniform, which can be purchased through the College.

The Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques is a qualification that will develop your practical skills in:

• Eyelash and eyebrow treatments

• Removing hair using waxing techniques

• Applying make-up

• Manicure

• Pedicure

• Skincare

• Provide Facial Skin Care

• Provide Eyelash and Eyebrow Treatments

• Provide Pedicure Treatments

You will be assessed through a portfolio of practical work, exams, and assignments.

A range of 3/2 grades at GCSE and a genuine interest in the beauty industry.

Progression to Level 3 Diploma courses in Beauty Therapy, Spa, Nail Services, Media Make-Up, or into employment.
