Course Details

Please be aware that all of our Motor Vehicle courses for the North Kent College, Tonbridge campus from September 2022, will be delivered at our Hadlow College campus in our brand new Motor Vehicle workshops. Train to work as a service technician working on motorcycles. You will learn both the theory and practical aspects of how to work with motorcycles including: * Diagnosis and rectification of engine and component faults * Chassis system faults * Auxiliary equipment electrical faults * Health and safety in the workplace You will be assessed by practical and written tasks and externally set examinations. Supported work experience is arranged with your tutor.

Entry requirements

You will need a Level 2 Diploma in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair and achievement of GCSE English and Maths at grades 9-4/A*-C or Functional Skills Level 2.
