Vehicle Body Repair (Refinishing) Level 2 Certificate

This course provides you with transferable skills and understanding of health, safety and good housekeeping in the automotive environment. Optional units include: removing and fitting motor vehicle body panels; minor motor vehicle exterior body panel repairs, and more.

This qualification offers a flexible bank of units that can be tailored into specialised learning packages. It provides learners with transferable skills, engages them with current industry practice, and prepares them to progress onto further qualifications or employment within the automotive industry. Assessment will be carried out via written work and practical work within the workshop

Minimum four grade 3-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 1 course, and English or maths at grade 3.

Successful completion of the Level 2 Certificate in Motor Vehicle Studies provides a sound preparation for further vocational training, such as continuing onto the ABC Level 2 Diploma in Motor Vehicle Studies or an Apprenticeship at Level 2 or 3 in the motor vehicle industry.
