Course Summary

During this one-year course, you will develop basic vehicle servicing skills, basic vehicle accident repair skills, and learn a range of professional workplace skills such as teamwork, customer service, and communicating with others.

Course Details

You will develop skills that employers have asked us to include in a programme that enables you to become employer ready. You will develop basic vehicle servicing skills in vehicle maintenance, basic vehicle accident repair skills and included in all this will be employability skills, looking at CV�s, working with customers, communicating with others, costing repairs to name but a few areas. Being on this programme means that you will be studying Maths and English as your main aim in this programme of study. In order to get you employer / apprenticeships ready you will need to achieve 4/5 in Maths and English during this study programme.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

You will be assessed carrying out various tasks, working towards building portfolio of evidence that can be presented to an employer, as preparation for employment.

Entry requirements

You will need to demonstrate an ability to achieve Level 1 English and maths by the end of the course through an initial assessment.

Your next steps...

Progression for this course is either apprenticeships or level 2 in Accident Body repair or Vehicle Maintenance repair.
