Course Summary
Designed for those interested in developing the specific technical and professional skills and knowledge that will lead to meaningful employment in the fisheries industry.
You can look forward to practical experience in our dedicated Fisheries Management Centre learning a balance of practical and theoretical knowledge.

How will it be delivered and assessed?
You will be assessed through unit-based internal assignments and external assessments to include theory exams and practical synoptic evidence.
Entry requirements
EITHER:
- You’ll need to have achieved 5 GCSEs between Grade 9-4 (previous grade structure A-C) including English, Maths and a Science
- Successful completion of a Level 2 course and GCSE maths or English at grade c/4 or above
- Mature students without the above requirements will be considered
