You will learn about the construction of meaning, the importance of form and point of view, and study works from different time periods and genres.
Course Details

You will study a wide range of plays, novels, and poetry and discover some of the critical theories that can be used to explore the different meanings of texts while learning how to place them within the historical and cultural contexts they were written. You will practise close-reading techniques, construct written arguments, and critically analyse literary texts.
