Course Details
You will study a combination of mandatory and optional units that explore key areas of digital media. Core learning includes understanding media products, audiences, and how digital content is produced. Other units cover areas such as audio production, video editing, digital photography, graphics and interactive media. You’ll plan, create, and evaluate media products using industry‑standard processes, developing both creative and technical skills.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
Assessment is through a mix of externally examined units and internally assessed coursework. Exams test your understanding of media theory, industry practice, and how digital products communicate meaning. Coursework units involve practical assignments where you produce media content in response to realistic briefs. This balanced approach helps you build confidence in both analytical thinking and hands‑on production.
