iCan
The iCan campaign has been developed to support young people in Year 9 upwards, and their parents, carers and supporters, who have barriers to accessing mainstream careers events, such as students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), social, emotional or mental health (SEMH) issues, or other barriers. The event is designed to help young people develop confidence as they progress through education and into employment and enable them to become more independent as they transition into adulthood.
Schools and colleges, employers and apprenticeship and training providers can sign-up to take part in iCan by emailing the Careers Hub team at Careers.Hub@eastsussex.gov.uk
Our range of iCan resources, available here on our Careers East Sussex website, can provide helpful information and advice about local post-16 education and employment pathways, and the organisations and tools young people can access to assist them on their journey.
