The Skills Bootcamp in Catering will provide you with the vital qualification and knowledge for entering this rewarding sector. The Level 2 in Food Hygiene is a UK-mandated qualification for anyone handling food in a catering environment covering, hazards, safe storage, temperature control, and cleaning. You will learn about foodborne illnesses, food hazards, including allergens, pest control and best practice. This course has been developed with longstanding professionals in the catering industry, so by getting your teeth into this Skills Bootcamp you will also receive valuable talks and insights from The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne, a popular 5 star hotel, known as England's only 5-star luxury resort located in a seaside town. Whether you are interested in catering for a restaurant, pub, café, hotel or school, this course is essential, and will provide you with the fundamental skills to start your journey. As a bonus you will also work towards Level 3 units to understand food service skills, customer relations and housekeeping, making this course a great stepping stone for individuals aiming for more senior roles and formal recognition in the hospitality sector too.
