Application Instructions

You can only apply for one course type on an application.

Applying for A-Levels and/or V-Levels? You can choose to study three A-Levels or create a mixed programme combining A-Levels with other qualifications, including the new V-Levels. You will select the courses from a list of relevant subjects when you apply.

Applying for T-Levels? T-Levels are full-time courses that allow you to focus on one subject.

Applying for Vocational courses? Our technical and professional vocational courses are full-time programmes focusing on one subject. You can apply for up to two courses in the same application.

We accept applications to more than one campus; however once you have attended an interview session and received an offer from us, you will need to confirm your first-choice course and the campus you want to study at.

Course Summary

Inclusive Learning supports and challenges young people aged 16-24 with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). Our student-first ethos ensures everyone reaches personal goals and learning outcomes. Every young person in our community deserves access to a quality education that equips them with the skills, knowledge, and behaviours to progress towards greater independence and adulthood. Our team collaborates with students and their families to create personalised learning pathways and set ambitious goals, celebrating achievements throughout the year. Most students have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP), with some requiring additional support or therapy as specified in their plans. Our specialist staff focus on each student’s strengths, working to build independence and confidence. Courses are designed to prepare young people for adult life, independence, and employment, with dedicated facilities such as therapy rooms, personal care spaces, and sensory areas. Students are encouraged to improve their Maths and English skills, with options to pursue GCSEs or Functional Skills qualifications if appropriate. They will also develop digital skills, learning how technology and social media can support their adult lives.

Course Details

Steps is designed for young people who are not yet ready for a full-time vocational programme due to diverse learning, social, and emotional needs. Students gain qualifications in different vocational subjects, participate in community projects, and develop employability, personal, and social skills. With small group teaching and wraparound support, students are prepared for progression onto Step-Up, a Supported Internship, Project Search, or a full-time course or an apprenticeship.
