Course Details

You will develop your acting skills by taking part in the creation and performance of projects in our theatre and local commercial and community theatres. These include Physical Theatre, Contemporary Drama, Devising, Pantomime, Shakespeare and your own unique performance project. You will be introduced to the realities of a professional working environment and will learn the necessary rehearsal etiquette and professional practice standards required within the industry. Not only that, you'll also have the opportunity to learn first-hand through a variety of exciting workshops and trips to London and New York.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Assessment is primarily through observation and presentation of practical performance projects supported by written coursework, group critique and individual tutorial. You will also take part in a controlled externally set assessment. We'll encourage you to assess yourself enthusiastically, honestly, and critique your practical projects positively.
