Entry Requirements: - Students wishing to study 3 Level 3 courses will be required to achieve 5+ GCSEs at grade 5 and above including English and Mathematics. However, some subjects have additional requirements in terms of the grades required. The Marsh Academy operates a sliding scale of qualifications which are outlined on the Marsh Academy website. There is scope for students to study 2 Level 3 subjects and also studying some Level 2 subjects. Students who wish to study two subjects must have attained 4+GCSEs at grade 5 or above.

This qualification is designed to support learners in developing the personal skills, emotional wellbeing, and social awareness needed to thrive in education, employment, and life. It meets the full Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) requirements and promotes resilience, self-confidence, and healthy relationships.

The course includes units such as:

Personal identity and self-awareness

Managing emotions and building resilience

Healthy relationships and communication

Physical and mental wellbeing

Decision-making and goal setting

Assessment is through internally assessed coursework. Learners complete reflective journals, presentations, and practical tasks to demonstrate their understanding. There are no formal exams, making this qualification accessible to a wide range of learners.

Students must achieve the minimum of a grade 1 in all Level 2 examinations.

Learners can progress to Level 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care, Childcare, or Public Services. The course also supports personal development for future employment, apprenticeships, and further education.
