Course Summary

This course will lead to a standard Level 2 qualification in English. Students needing to continue both English and Maths need only select ONE option block for BOTH courses.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

The course offers a skills based approach and is assessed in two written examinations at the end of the year. Students will also complete a non-examination assessment to demonstrate their spoken language skills.

Entry requirements

No formal entry qualifications are required for Level 2 courses.

You could take this course to prepare for Advanced Level courses such as an A/AS Level in English or you may need to strengthen your grades by completing a foundation or intermediate vocational qualification.
