There will be a cost of approximately �100 to cover the cost of tools, materials, and books. You will also need to provide your own safety boots and overalls.
Course Summary
This course will give you a broad understanding about the engineering industry's many fields. You will learn technical skills in the our fully-equipped machine shop and welding bays, while gaining a thorough understanding of the theoretical side of engineering in the classroom.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
Your assessment will consist of 100% coursework based assignments.
Entry requirements
Minimum five grade 4-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 2 course, and English and/or maths at grade 4.
Your next steps...
On completion of this course you can progress onto an Apprenticeship, HNC/HND Engineering courses here or go onto to further study at university.
If you wish to start your career you could gain employment in a wide range of opportunities including becoming an Environmental engineer, a Vehicle designer, a Civil engineer, an Aeronautical engineer, a Mechanical engineer, a Marine engineering or a Nuclear engineering.
