Course Summary

Our popular fine dining restaurant, coffee shop and industrial kitchens provide an ideal environment to learn the skills needed for a career in the catering and hospitality industry.

At Level 1 and 2 you will study a combination of food and beverage service and professional cookery and at Level 3 you will specialise in your preferred area.

In addition to food and customer service skills, you will develop skills in food preparation, cookery, bar service and front-of-house experience. You will explore gastronomy, learn technical skills required for advanced preparation of dishes in professional kitchens and restaurant service skills.

  • Industry-standard restaurant, coffee shop and kitchens
  • Opportunities to work with celebrity chefs
  • Visits to hotels and restaurants
  • Themed evenings, community and charity events

This course leads to two qualifications after one year (above). However some students may gain one qualification in one year, with an option to study for the second qualification the year after. This will be discussed at interview.
