Course Summary

If you are a budding entrepreneur or you dream of holding a managerial position in your career, then Business A-Level can help you achieve that. You'll gain a good overview of the internal workings of a business as well as the external factors that affect a company�s ability to meet objectives and strategies.

Course Details

Join us for this two-year A-Level, where you will discover more about the all-encompassing world of business. You'll learn more about business theory, learn more about entrepreneurialism, and develop key managerial skills. You will also gain a good overview to the internal workings of an organisation, as well as the external factors that affect a company�s ability to meet objectives and strategies.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

This qualification covers ten topics assessed through three exams, each worth 33.3% of the A-Level and all of which are examined in June. BUSINESS1: A mix of multiple choice, short answer and data response questions. BUSINESS2: Three data response questions. BUSINESS3: One compulsory case study with six questions of varying length. Throughout the course you will be expected to complete written homework tasks, which will help your teachers to provide you with individual feedback designed to help you improve your performance ready for these external assessments.

Entry requirements

Our general entry criteria to study 3 A-Levels is: Minimum five GCSEs grade 4-9 with English Language or Maths at grade 5. For a mixed Level 3 programme the criteria are: Minimum five GCSEs grade 4-9 with English Language or Maths at grade 4. Subject specific entry criteria apply:A GCSE grade 4 in English Language and grade 4 in Maths
