Art, Design and Media UAL Level 1 Diploma

The UAL Level 1 Diploma in Art, Design and Media programme is designed to provide a bridge between Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications. o You will study Art, Design and Media days every week o Your projects will include: Video Production, animation, sound editing, illustration and 3D design. o You will be taught by art and media specialists in the art and media studios o There are clear opportunities for progression onto Level 2 Programmes in Art and Design, Photography and Media Production. You will work with specialist staff in specialist facilities at the Lewes campus in Photography, Design & Media, as well as having a study Programme tutor to help with all pastoral needs. If you are genuinely passionate about art and media and need another year in order to get the Maths and English grades that will allow you to progress to a level 2 specialist programme, then this is the course for you.

Assessment is continuous and based on your coursework. This starts early in the course and runs right through the year. There is no formal examination. You will be given the opportunity to achieve at level 2 in your final course unit if appropriate.

This course will provide a pathway on to our UAL Level 2 Diplomas either in Art and Design or Creative Media Production.
