Wood Engraving

An introduction to wood engraving, a delicate and powerful printmaking technique, whose most well known local practitioners were Eric Ravillious and Eric Gill. We will be covering the history, tools, image making and printing. A practice block of wood, ink and paper will be supplied. Use college tools or bring your own. Extra wood blocks and cutting surfaces can be purchased during the class.
