Vehicle Maintenance Repair Cert L2

You will be taught by industry professionals who will combine workshop-based training with the necessary theory needed for modern motor vehicle servicing and repair. Workshop practice will provide opportunities to develop your expertise and understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques. You will improve your understanding of vehicle servicing requirements, technical requirements and practices required when carrying out repairs to industry standards. Some of the areas covered include braking systems, engine servicing, suspension operation and checks for condition and operation.

You will be assessed through a combination of practical assessments, written tasks and multiple choice on-line exams.

This course will provide a pathway into a possible apprenticeship (employer dependent). You will need to have achieved good grades in the theoretical elements and the practical skill requirements at Level 2 to make sure you are ready for employment opportunities, or to undertake the level 2 Diploma the following year.
