Stone Therapy Massage Level 3

Train with us to learn this popular holistic treatment and complement your existing massage skills. Using stone therapy, you'll be able to, relax and ease your client's muscle tension without additional strain to your hands. An essential qualification for any massage therapist.

You will be assessed by two externally written unit papers taken together. Paper one will test your knowledge on the theory and practice of stone therapy, while paper two will test your knowledge of related anatomy and physiology. There will also be practical assessments throughout the course, including four treatment observations, two for health and safety and three client care taken simultaneously.

Once you have finished this course, you will be ready to offer treatments as a stone therapy massage specialist. You will be eligible to join a professional association BABTAC and gain insurance as a stone therapy massage specialist. This will mean you can start working in commercial beauty salons, day spas, or working independently as a self-employed therapist, either mobile or in a home-based setting.
