Sports Massage Therapy Diploma Level 3

Have you ever wanted to start a new career and become a sports massage therapist or you have been wanting to upskill and add to your repertoire of massage skills? If so, then this course is suited for you. This course has been designed for adults in mind where there is a blend of face to face tuition one day a week including time for self study. You are not required to hold any prior skills or knowledge in this subject however having a massage background can be an advantage. A good level of English at level 2 and above is required. The level 3 sports massage therapist will be able to work safely and effectively on dysfunctional tissue in a range of context, to include, pre-event, post event, intra-event and for maintenance purposes.

You will be required to build a portfolio of evidence and complete a range of practical assessments and unit papers

Learners who complete this qualification will be able to gain employment and obtain insurance to work as a sports massage therapist. Progression opportunities are: - VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Sports massage therapy - VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training (Gym-based exercise)
