Mathematics GCSE

This subject covers a wide range of mathematical knowledge and skills including numbers and algebra, geometry, measure and data handling. An essential qualification for entry to employment, further and higher education, this is an intensive course with only two hours per week tuition time and therefore requires a high level of commitment from the student to succeed. This is an examination class and it is a condition of acceptance on the course that students sit the exam. Students should be able and willing to undertake several hours of home study in addition to the two hours per week class time.

You will be assessed through external exams, completion of homework, progress tests
