Level 1 Award In Creative Craft

This qualification aims to: � enable learners to develop basic skills in craft � provide learners with underpinning knowledge of the craft process � provide learners with a basis for progression into further study in craft-related areas Learners will study wood whittling, eco based crafts using recycled materials and willow weaving. Please note: If you are unemployed or in receipt of a low wage (less than �18,525 annual gross salary) you should be eligible to take this course for free. Please contact us for more information.

This qualification is assessed by a portfolio of evidence created by the learner. There are no exams.

Learners who achieve this qualification could also progress to a level 2 qualification in areas such as Art & Design, Photography, Creative Craft, Graphic Design or Employability Skills.
