L3 Award In Learning Disabilities (PT Adult)

This qualification provides learners with the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills around supporting individuals with learning disabilities. It is aimed at learners who support individuals with learning disabilities as part of their job role. It includes the nature and characteristics of learning disability, support, legislation, communication and planning. It is aimed at managers, unsupervised carers or senior level workers who come into contact with, or are supporting, individuals with learning disabilities as part of their job role.

This qualification will be assessed by your Tutor using a range of methods. Work is submitted and assessed o, which demonstrates how you have met the assessment criteria for the course. You should expect to complete a minimum of 3 hours of homework per week in addition to class attendance.

This qualification enables learners to progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or to progress into employment.
