Course Summary
This is a suitable course for anyone who is interested in learning Adobe Illustrator and applying that knowledge to producing illustrations for print, the web or any other format.
There will be a focus on how to replicate traditional media as vector art and how to work with non destructive editing. We will look at how to create pen and ink, watercolour and woodcut effects.
As well as this teaching on Illustrator, we will be looking at illustration to meet different audiences and different tasks.
This course will look at how Illustrator can help you in your work.
You don't have to have much experience in working with computers to take part, but you will need to be willing to learn and all the teaching will take place on Apple Mac computers.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
You will engage in your work and receive direction and help from the tutor as well as positive encouragement from others on the course as there will be an emphasis on shared ideas and experience in the classes.
Your next steps...
