Course Summary

Unemployment can have a major impact on mental wellbeing and physical health. It can cause depression, anxiety, stress and low self-esteem. Finding or returning to work can reverse the adverse health effects of unemployment as well as help to escape poverty.

If you are unemployed and have mental health challenges, we can help you overcome barriers that are preventing you from accessing work and secure or retain employment that suits your needs.

Course Details

We provide a range of services that provide support through an approach called Individual Placement and Support (IPS), recognised as best practice by the Centre for Mental Health.

To ensure our support is joined-up, we work in partnership with the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s mental health clinical teams. We also work with local Job Centres and employers to increase opportunities for people with mental health challenges to secure and retain employment.
