Drawing and Painting Beginners

Suitable for complete beginners or those with a little experience. You will receive guidance on how to draw from observation, using tone and line in a variety of media, and how to paint what you see in the medium of your choice (acrylics or watercolours). Please bring an A2 cartridge pad, 2B/3B/4B pencils, charcoal and a putty rubber. Advice about what further equipment to buy will be given during the course. Tutor: Belinda Channer

Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions, and where appropriate, through the use of Individual Learning Plans, as specified by RARPA

Some courses will offer progression routes, there may also be an opportunity to join other associated courses or clubs. This will be discussed during the last lesson.
