Counseling Certificate

This course is an ideal qualification for those who enjoy supporting others. It gives learners the opportunity to understand the skills needed for effective communication and is also useful for those considering a career in supporting people who would like to develop their skills.

There will be a variety of delivery methods including presentations, group discussions, case studies and role plays with many utilising individual and peer presentation formats. Communication skills are an essential part of counselling therefore a willingness to participate in role play and reflection is an important part of the course.

The course is designed to support progression to level 3.
