There are a few extra costs as you'll need to purchase a pair of steel toe-capped safety boots, a tape measure, gloves, and safety glasses/goggles.

Course Summary

Our Brickwork for Beginners course is a great way to get started with building brick structures. This is a practical course and will teach you how to build corners, brick piers, straight walls, lay a 'soldier' course, and brick on edge. Learners over 19. If you are under 19, please contact the college for advice.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions, and where appropriate, through the use of Individual Learning Plans, as specified by RARPA
