You are required to purchase a kit that consists of all the equipment you will need to get started, a uniform which must be worn within the training studio and a textbook to assist your studies.

Course Summary
This fast track one year course is delivered one night a week during term time. This vocational qualification is most suited to learners who wish to pursue a career in the beauty therapy industry. You will develop the necessary knowledge, understanding and skills to provide facial skincare, eyelash and brow treatments, apply makeup,manicure and pedicure treatments. You will also be required to carry out client consultations that comply with health and safety requirements in the salon. You will be assessed through observations, assignments and short written papers. Evolve Training Studios; the College's on-site salons, operate a realistic working environment and a dress code that must be adhered to.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
In our modern training studios, the course is based on continuous assessment of practical work, assignments, homework and short written papers throughout the 30 weeks of the course. You will collate all your work in a portfolio of evidence.

You can work in the beauty industry or progress on to level 3 courses such as the Beauty Therapy (massage) course.
