Course Summary

Our Medicine Access course prepares you for degree-level study in a variety of Science and Medical-related degree courses. You will study units in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and develop your research skills, ready for your degree. People who intend to progress on to medical school to train to be a doctor

How will it be delivered and assessed?

You will be assessed by essays, reports, textual analysis, seminar presentations and examinations. You will also submit assignments for each subject unit and complete coursework in the core units. You will also submit a 5,000-word research project on a subject of your choice, which will form a major part of the overall assessment.

Your next steps...

Once you have finished this course, you can progress onto medical-related degree courses at universities across the country. Many of our students go on to local universities, such as the University of Sussex, Brighton and Chichester (guaranteed interviews and guaranteed places are offered for some courses at these universities through the Compact programme).
