Many of our students go on to the Universities of Sussex, Brighton and Chichester (where we have some guaranteed interviews and some guaranteed places) and an increasing number of our students gain places at universities throughout Britain. The Access Courses is 'QAA approved',which means that it is validated by LASER Learning Awards (formerly Open College Network). On this course you will study a combination of units related to Humanities and Social Science, such as Psychology, Sociology, History, English and Philosophy. Students have the opportunity to select from a range of options in order to progress onto their specialised subject at degree level
How will it be delivered and assessed?
Students will be asked to submit assignments for each subject unit, and to complete course work in the core units. Assignments may take the form of essays, reports, textual analysis, seminar presentations and examinations. All students submit a research project which forms a major part of the overall assessment.
