Many of our students go on to the Universities of Sussex, Brighton and Chichester (guaranteed interviews and guaranteed places are offered for some courses at these universities through the Compact programme; also,an increasing number of our students gain places at universities throughout Britain. On this course you will be studying units in biology and chemistry, with an option to take physics or psychology.
The Access Courses is 'QAA approved', which means that it is validated by LASER Learning Awards (formerly Open College Network).
How will it be delivered and assessed?
Students will be asked to submit assignments for each subject unit, and to complete course work in the core units. Assignments may take the form of essays, reports, textual analysis, seminar presentations and examinations. All students submit a 5,000 word research project on a subject of their own choice, which forms a major part of the overall assessment.
