Inclusion Community of Practice

The Inclusion Community of Practice (CoP) is part of the East Sussex Careers Hub and was set-up in April 2020. Over the last half decade it has been readvised to meet the needs of its members and young people. The CoP brings together Careers Leaders, SENCo’s and other professionals from special schools, specialist 16-19 colleges, training providers, mainstream schools, and academies.

Through a collaborative approach, we aim to upskill and inform our members, to improve the careers and transition outcomes for all young people who have disadvantage. 

The CoP meets in person twice each academic year. The meetings focus on providing professional development, networking opportunities, sharing of best practice, and sharing new and existing resources specific to our disadvantaged cohorts of young people. You can find the latest resources here:
