Brighter Horizons Training is an independent training provider and an advocate of apprenticeships and short courses in early the years sector, our area of specialism. Based in West Sussex, we deliver the Level 2,3 and 5 Early Years apprenticeships through a blended approach of online learning and face to face visits in setting.

The University of Brighton has been developing and delivering degree apprenticeships since 2016. ‘Moving On Up’ supports East Sussex residents, living in supported and temporary accommodation, to secure an apprenticeship or employment, and permanent housing. Candidates on the scheme will receive help to secure employment or an apprenticeship which is a real job with a living wage and great prospects, pre-employment training and in-work mentoring support, and practical help with securing permanent accommodation, including access to a rental deposit of up to £3,000. Employers on the scheme will receive a £2,000 incentive to support salary costs.

The Restart Scheme is a support service for long-term unemployed jobseekers. The service gives Universal Credit claimants who have been out of work for at least 9 months enhanced support to find jobs in their local area.
